Cassini releases Huygen probe towards Titan

Building the Cassini-Huygens Scientific Findings Page

As the mission scientist you are responsible for analyzing the data sent back to Earth by the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft. You have been working on the mission for years and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of your robot explorer at the mysterious ringed planet.

Using Dreamweaver go to the your mission folder and open the page cassini-huygens_scientist.html and configure your page to our web site standards.

Create a web page about the Cassini-Huygens mission with answers to the following questions. (Remember, no big cut and pastes, summarize your answers in your own words. Also, don't get hung up on any one question (if you get stuck try asking your team mates for help), just try to answer as many questions as you can):

    1. First give an update on Cassini's health.
    2. Cassini is really two spacecrafts in one. What will Cassini do? And what will Huygens do? (Hint)
    3. When will Cassini arrive at Saturn?
    4. Watch the Science Objectives Movie and list at least two scientific goals of the Cassini mission.
    5. Why would we want to explore Saturn and its moons? You may want to brainstorm this with your teammates on this.

Now lets make your page more interesting, informative and user-friendly for your visitors:

    - Add a few graphics from the Cassini-Huygens mission. Choose your 2 favorite images to be included in a class slide show.

    - Add at least one Cassini related link to your page.

    - Next add a couple of interesting facts that you have learned about Saturn.

    - Don't forget to create your "up" links.

If you have time you can add pop-up fields to your images that describe some of the major features of Saturn. For a skill set on how to do this click here.
