Whew!  You made it!  Here we are.  This is what a tide pool looks like from above the water.


 

 Tide pool creatures live in seawater pools between the shore and the open sea.  Every day, the tide moves in and out several times.  At high tide, the tide pool area is covered.  At low tide, the tide pools emerge, and you can observe many different kinds of plants and animals.  Look at the photograph below.  This is what the tide pools look like at low tide.  If you look closely at the upper right corner, you can see people exploring the tide pools!
