You have been looking at a lot of different ways that the Golden Mean and Fibonacci's Sequence are found in art, math and science. Now you'll bring all of that information together.

Think About People:
Look back at the different places people have used the Golden Mean or the Golden Section. How have people used them through history in different ways? Is it still used today? Where do you see it in buildings, designs or even in music? Look on the Internet to find additional information.

Think about Nature:
Where in nature does the Golden Mean occure? What patterns do you see between these instances? What are the differences? What are some places you see patterns that were not addressed in the lessons. Do research on the Internet for more information.

Are They Related?
Now, think about how people and nature both use patterns. What are some similar patterns that are used by both? What other things have people adopted from nature? Also, what are the difference between the Golden Mean, the Golden Section, Fibonacci's Sequence and Fibonacci's Ratio? Are any of these these things the same? any differences?

When you are finished with your writing, copy and paste your text into an HTML page and link it to your main Golden Mean page. Look in under Teacher Resources, Skill Sets, if you need a refresher on this skill.
