amazing but the Golden Mean, Golden Section, Fibonacci's Sequence and
Fibonacci's Ratio just keep going on and on.... In the last lesson you
will be looking at the actual mathmatical formula that gives you the Golden
Section.
Ready:
The previous formula is used to determine if a rectangle is a Golden Rectangle

Set:
Get your partner, ruler and journal and measure at least three different rectangles in your classroom.
Go:
You and your partner use the formula to mathmatially figure out if there
are any Golden Rectangles in your classroom. Be sure to show all of the
steps in your work in your journal.
Hint: You
may want to use a calculator in this process to be accurate. Also, the
1 is the long side of the rectangle (second number in the sequence), while
the 2 is the short side. Also, your product will only be close
to the ratio, not necessarily exact.
