Minor in Music

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts offers a minor in music for students who wish to supplement their major field of specialization with a serious study of music history and theory. The program is open to and will enrich both musicians and non-musicians. This program requires the completion of two basic courses and three electives, for a total of at least 20 units. Students may also earn credit by taking lessons or participating in a choir or orchestra.
