- To analyze the political, social, economic, and legal
environments of a variety of public sector, health care, and nonprofit
organizations and to develop the analytic and problem-solving skills
required of public administrators.
- To learn data evaluation methods and acquire skills
in oral and written communication, planning, budgeting, policy analysis,
decision-making, and collaboration.
- To develop an awareness of ethical issues and
problems in organizations, and how to use ethical reasoning to formulate
decisions and bring about organizational change.

Students are required to complete the 37 credits included in the undergraduate Public Administration Nonprofit
Administration program. Required courses are as follows:
- Complete 128 credits.
- Complete the Public Administration major and
Nonprofit Administration concentration major requirements.
- Satisfy the 44 credits Core Curriculum requirements.
- Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Public Administration
with an concentration in Nonprofit Administration, a graduate will have:
