The Comparative Literature Program is an interdisciplinary degree for students with a strong interest in literatures and cultures. The program emphasizes cross-disciplinary study and cross-cultural expertise. It looks to the past to a tradition of a broad liberal arts training in languages, literary study and the humanities, and at the same time anticipates the growing attraction of interdisciplinary, cross-cultural programs of study. The program responds to the growing emphasis on international and trans-cultural studies at USF.
