The Center for Child and Family Development was developed to
promote academic and personal success in at-risk school children by
providing school-based family counseling programs for parents and their
children. The Center serves as a valuable educational setting for
graduate students to receive training and supervision and to assist in
providing services. In addition to providing an important community
service for the residents of San Francisco's Mission district, this
Center provides low-fee counseling services and valuable fieldwork
opportunities to USF students.
