The Sociology
Department offers a minor program in Sociology for students who wish to
complement their major with a broader understanding of social processes
and institutions.
The Minor requires the completion of twenty (20) credits that
must include Introduction to Sociology (SOC 150) and Sociological Theory
(SOC 306).
- SOC - 150 Introduction to Sociology
- SOC - 306 Sociological Theory
The remaining twelve (12) credits of electives must include at
least eight (8) credits of upper-division course work.
Electives should be selected in consultation with the
student's Sociology advisor.
