The Department
administers two internship programs, one with government agencies
[0110-396. Public Administration Internship (4)] and one with
non-governmental agencies [0110-397. Fieldwork in Public Interest
Organizations (4)]. Both Politics and other majors can pursue
internships for course credit with a wide variety of organizations in
the Bay Area, and thereby link the academic experience in the classroom
to practical work in the field. The internships are offered every
semester, and all students beyond their Freshman year are encouraged to
