Co-curricular Transcripts

What is a Co-curricular Transcript?

A Co-curricular Transcript (“CcT”) is an official University document that will help you get the competitive edge for securing employment, internship opportunities, graduate school admission and scholarships. A CcT is a document that complements your academic transcript by verifying your co-curricular involvement. It will be a valuable asset for students when trying to get ahead.

A CcT lists all your co-curricular experiences (those activities that took place outside the classroom) in which you have been involved while being enrolled at USF.

This could include:

  1. Honors and Awards – received such as the Leo T. McCarthy Public Service Award, Father Schlegel Award, Senior Leadership Award, etc. Submit a copy of the award, certificate or letter.
  2. Student Government and Organizations – Involvement as a member and/or officer of ASUSF, or official student organizations such as Latinas Unidas, School of the Americas Club, Finance and Accounting Clubs, Greek organizations, etc.
  3. Athletics and Intramurals – Serving as a member, captain, coach, or manager of a USF intercollegiate athletics or intramural team such as captain of the women’s basketball team or a member of an intramural volleyball team, etc.
  4. Educational Workshops/Conferences – While a USF student, attending professional development opportunities such as leadership seminars, workshops, professional conferences, training sessions, etc.
  5. Community and Campus Service -
    • Volunteer work, performed while a USF student, that provides service to others such as volunteering for a youth organization, for a healthcare facility, as a reader for an elementary school, at a soup kitchen, etc.
    • Service to the campus community such as serving as a student representative on a University Committee, a New Student Orientation Leader, a Resident Advisor, etc.

What are the Benefits of a CcT?

  • A CcT documents commitment, efforts, and achievements that puts you ahead of the competition.
  • Having a CcT helps your ability to build and achieve personal and professional goals.
  • CcT's demonstrate proficiencies and skills acquired outside of the classroom.
  • A CcT provides incentives for students to seek leadership positions and experiences.
  • When applying for jobs or graduate schools, CcT's are a great way to complement resumes and applications.

How to Access your CcT

After logging into your USFconnect account, click on the Get Involved tab located to the right of the Student tab. Your orgsync home page should be available for you to use.

In the black OrgSync menu bar click on My Account.

Look at the bullets bellow and click on Co Curricular Manager. Under the heading of Co Curricular Manager there should be two tabs, Activities and Involvement.

If you want to add activities such as community service, click on the Activities tab. Two new tabs should appear that say New Entry and Pending.

Click on New Entry, enter in the required fields and press Submit. An e mail should be sent to the person you put under Reference E Mail Address*. They will have to approve the hours before it goes on your transcript.

If you click on the Pending tab you can see which activities you are still waiting approval on.

If you go back to the Co Curricular Manager home page and click on the Involvement tab, any clubs that you have registered on OrgSync for will be listed. Look for the organization that you want to be added to your transcript and click the button next to it that says add to transcript.

To review your transcript or print a copy of it, you can go back to the Co Curricular Manager home page. Next to the gray bar that says Review Co Curricular Transcript is a link for you to download transcript (pdf) of all the activities and organizations you were a part of.
