Electoral Governing Board (EGB)

      As the USF Electoral Governing Board, we bring candidates together to run for a seat on the ASUSF Senate each semester. We organize, poll and regulate the Elections process. However, EGB does much more for the USF campus than simply running ASUSF Senate Elections. We build community through our interactions with other organizations, on and off campus, during Community Action. EGB is also an organization that teaches and inspires professionalism for its members, as well as instilling the importance of ethics and integrity in each members work.

    Before student leaders become Senators, they are candidates and we, as EGB, establish a precedent of honest campaigning to set the tone for candidates’ entire Senate career. EGB is proud to bring USF student leaders together for the entire campus’ voice to be heard!

Candidate Info Meeting #2- Monday, March 4, 6:00-7:00 pm, UC 402/403     

Candidate Info Meeting #3- Thursday, March 7, 11:45 am-12:45 pm, UC 402/403       

Candidate Applications Due- Tuesday, March 26 by 11:59 pm (online)     

Candidate Orientation (mandatory for all applicants)- Wednesday, March 27, 6:00-7:30 pm, UC 4th floor lounge

Meet 'n Greet the Candidates- Tuesday, April 9, 11:45-12:45 pm, UC 4th floor lounge 

Executive Debates- Thursday, April 11, 11:45 am-12:45 pm, UC 4th floor lounge     

Spring Elections- voting begins at 10:00 am Monday, April 15 and ends at 4:00 pm Thursday, April 18     

Spring Elections Results Meeting: Thursday, April 18, 5:00-6:00 pm UC 402/403

EGB Responsibilities

• Publicizing Senate positions available for election
• Providing candidate application material and campaign guidelines
• Monitoring and adjudicating candidate campaigns
• Publicizing ASUSF elections, generating strong voter turn-out
• Overseeing election process and determining results for elections
