Dean Rader

Dean Rader has served as the Associate Dean for Arts and Humanities since 2003. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of English where his areas of teaching interest include 20th century American poetry, Native American Literature,writing, and film.
Dean's most recent books include the second edition of The World Is a Text (Prentice Hall, 2005), co-authored with Jonathan Silverman, and Speak to Me Words: Essays on Contemporary American Indian Poetry (University of Arizona Press, 2003), co edited with poet Janice Gould. Other recent publications include poems in Parthenon West Review, Fire, and The Wallace Stevens Journal, an essay in the July 2005 issue of College English, and a piece on reading, economics, and culture in the most recent issue of Conversations.
