The Sociology Department at the University of San Francisco is very proud of our students. They are thoughtful, engaged critical thinkers from a wide variety of backgrounds, who combine excellent scholarship with a drive to create a better world. Our students have helped shape the Department, from establishing a Sociology Club in 2011 to co-organizing a forum on the Occupy Movement to winning the Dean's Medal for Excellence in the Arts. Every year a number of sociology students present original research at the Western Departments of Sociology and Anthropology Undergraduate Research conference at Santa Clara University.
If you are a current USF sociology student and would like to "make the news," you are encouraged to contact Program Assistant Amy F. Joseph.
