2013 Wm. Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition, USF Scores

The William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition is an annual contest for college students established in 1938 in memory of its namesake, by Elizabeth Lowell Putnam.  The scores below are in the top 30 percent in the country, on an extremely difficult 6-hour-long problem solving competition-- with a median score of zero points out of 120 possible.

The Batey Prize

The Batey Prize is awarded to the most outstanding graduating senior in mathematics and includes a purse, a gift of the Batey family.

The Mike and Millie Lehmann Scholarship 

Established in 2004 by the USF Faculty Association in honor of the Lehmanns' dedication to their USF students and significant contributions to the Faculty Association, the Lehmann Scholarship provides a $1000 scholarship to Math majors and Economics majors each year.
