Biography

Alex Fedosov Manager of Scientific Computing; Computer Science

Alex manages the four supercomputers housed at the Department of Computer Science as well as oversees the Department's server and network infrastructure. He is described by his colleagues as a "networking and OS superhuman." Alex received his BS in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco. His current and past projects include the Keck Cluster supercomputer, the Kudlick multimedia classroom, the Flashmob Supercomputing event at USF, and Community Connections Peru immersion trips. Alex's research interests include systems programming and parallel and distributed systems.
