Biography

  Marcelo F. Camperi
Professor: Latin American Studies | Physics

Marcelo F. Camperi studied physics at the great Universidad Nacional de la Plata, in Argentina. He received his Ph.D. from Boston University, working in topological field theory and some phenomenology of elementary particles. Upon graduating, he became interested in the study of the brain from a physicists' point of view. Currently, Professor Camperi is working on theoretical and computational neuroscience. He is also interested in computational physics, mathematical physics, and in computers in education. He currently chairs the Department of Physics.
