Renee Brunelle received a BS in mathematics from the University of San Francisco in 1994 and an MA in pure mathematics with emphases in modern algebra and complex analysis from the University of California, San Diego in 1997. At USF she has helped to establish the use of the Calculus Readiness Test for placing incoming students into the proper entry-level mathematics course, has been a regular volunteer at the annual Bay Area Math Meet, and can be found conversing with faculty and students every Wednesday afternoon at the weekly Math Tea. When not trying to rid the world of math phobia one student at a time, Renee enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and building 3D puzzles.
