Jennifer Alix-Garcia Ph.D.
Assistant Professor, Economics
Jennifer Alix-Garcia received her Ph.D. in agricultural economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Her areas of specialization are development economics, environmental economics, applied microeconomics, and spatial analysis. Dr. Alix-Garcia has published papers on common property deforestation, payments for environmental services, and inequality and natural resource exploitation. In addition to continuing working in these areas, she also has projects examining the impact of displaced populations on host communities and the effect of inequality in determining civic participation.
