We offer two ways to complete the University of San Francisco undergraduate application. Equal consideration is given to both, so select the option that’s easier for you.
The Common Application provides a standard admission application that may be submitted to any of their 488 members, including the University of San Francisco. Learn more about The Common Application.
Once you complete the Common Application, send all supporting documents to our admissions office. The USF Application Instructions provide a full description of all required documents.
Recently, students have encountered problems when applying through The Common Application. The University of San Francisco will make every effort to ensure that applicants will be not disadvantaged in the application process due to technical difficulties with the Common Application that are not within the applicant's control. If you experience any problems, browse the Common Application's list of known issues and progress updates, contact the USF counselor who will be reading your application or try the USF Online Application.
Note: Transfer applications are not considered complete until we receive an application, letter of recommendation and transcripts from all previous colleges.
USF’s Online Application
Once you create an account, we’ll provide a checklist of information required to submit your application online. Fill out as much as you can, and save your progress until it’s complete.
Note: Students interested in applying to one of our Bachelor's Degree Completion Programs for Working Professionals should select “Degree Completion” as the Application Type.
