Constituent Societies

Constituent Alumni Societies are specialized constituencies based on degree, ethnicity, major or other common points of connection, working to promote the interests of alumni through university sponsored programs and events.

These groups work to accomplish the goals of the Alumni Association in a variety of ways and have the same basic objectives:

To promote the professional growth of members

To link members with the university, the school/college (if applicable), and the community at large

To sponsor events which encourage networking and camaraderie among members

To become a vehicle for outreach to incoming and current students

To provide an opportunity for career planning and placement for current students and recent graduates

To support the academic, social, and fundraising goals and programs of the school/college and the university

The following constituent alumni societies currently have an established set of bylaws which have been approved by the Alumni Association Board of Governors and/or sponsor programs on a regular basis:

Latino Alumni Society

MBA Alumni Society

The president of each group serves on the Board of Directors, in addition to carrying out the goals and objectives of the group he/she represents.
