From three-star restaurants in wine country to boutique, luxury hotels on the water, the San Francisco Bay Area is a top travel destination worldwide. That reputation has resulted in a hospitality industry exploding with opportunity.
The Hospitality Management Association (HMA) is a student-run organization designed to take advantage of those opportunities by bridging the gap between student life and the professional world. Hotel and restaurant tours, club meetings, community action projects, and social events provide students with the chance to get to know their fellow classmates, meet new people, and network with industry professionals.
Members network with industry leaders around the country during events such as the HMA and DSP Fashion Show, IHMRS and local hospitality tours. These networking opportunities have helped students land internships and full-time positions with Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, Mandarin Oriental, and Giants Enterprises.
