Play in a Day

Every semester, the College Players host Play in a Day, an event where students conceptualize, create and perform a play in twenty-four hours. Starting at 8pm, writers have 12 hours to complete their script before handing it off to the actors, who have 12 hours to memorize their lines. Play in a Day is open to all students. No experience is required.

Why Join the College Players?

For students interested in pursuing a career in theater, College Players delivers the hands-on experience that life after college demands. Past members have gone on to create improv teams, become screenwriters and land acting jobs on popular television series. For those pursuing other professional opportunities, joining the College Players will improve your improvisation, presentation and communication skills – each essential to success in any field.
