Admission Information for International Students

San Francisco is one of the most globally connected cities in the world and, for many of you, parts of the City will feel just like home. Our students come from over 80 countries, and are essential members of our richly diverse campus community. Learning side-by-side with people who represent all of the world’s cultures will truly prepare you for life after USF.

USF welcomes applications from prospective students from all over the world, and our international admission representatives travel to many countries to meet with prospective students and their families. Please consult our International Travel Schedule to find out if a USF representative will visit a city near you. We also invite you to visit us on campus, and encourage you to do so, if at all possible.

We hope our site offers you a glimpse of what it’s like to live, study, and be a part of our community at USF. And we’ve always got people to help with the graduate application process. Request information for your program of interest or visit our graduate program list to learn more.

Applications for all graduate programs must be submitted online. As part of your application, you may also be required to submit the following documents:
1.) Certification of Finances
2.) English Language Proficiency Test Score

If you are admitted to USF and plan on applying for an F1 student visa, please visit International Student and Scholar Services for more information.
