Minor in Dance

This program is perfect for students who find dance to be an essential component in life, but who have chosen a major outside of the performing arts.

Requirements

The Minor is comprised of 20 units, three required core courses (Craft, Exploration, and Composition) followed by two courses in specific technique: ballet, modern dance, or jazz dance. Students must also participate in two of the USF Dance Ensemble productions to fulfill the requirements of the Minor. Check our other classes online.

• DANC - 130 Dance Studio: Craft
• DANC - 230 Dance Studio: Exploration.
• DANC - 231 Dance Studio: Composition.

Four (4) units from 0157-300 series Intermediate or Advanced technique: ballet, modern dance, and jazz dance.

Four (4) units from 0157-300 or 400 series upon consultation with the dance faculty Minor advisor.
