Hospitality Industry Management Major
The hotel, restaurant and tourism industry is not only the largest industry in the Bay Area, it is the fastest growing industry in the world today. Accompanying this growth is an equally strong demand for educated, qualified managers in hotel and restaurant operations and for capable individuals in related and supporting industries such as consulting, public accounting, sales and marketing, computer technology and numerous other careers within the hospitality industry.
The Hospitality Industry Management Program is designed for those students interested in a career in management, entrepreneurship and leadership. USF's strong liberal arts education blends seamlessly with a curriculum critically designed to meet the challenges of current and future industry conditions. The Program provides a solid foundation of business principles strategically teamed with practical application and personal values to manage this ever-changing industry with confidence, professionalism, good ethical judgment and social consciousness.
