As you explore your options for college next fall, we invite you to learn more
about USF at an information reception for newly admitted multicultural and first
generation college-bound students and their families. Staff and student leaders
from Admission and Multicultural Recruitment and Retention will provide information
about enrolling at USF as well as share information about unique academic and
extra-curricular programs that challenge and prepare students to become global
citizens and leaders in our multicultural world.

¡Bienvenidos! Overnight Program
Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, 2008
Newly admitted students will be invited to the campus for an overnight program including a welcome dinner, workshops and a tour designed to introduce students and parents to the Latino community at USF. Students will have an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, alumni, and current USF students representing Latinas Unidas(LU), Latino Dons, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Aztlan (MEChA), and the Latin American Students Organization (LASO). In addition to learning about campus resources, participants will see first hand the growing Latina/o community on our campus. All newly admitted students will receive an invitation to participate in Bienvenidos shortly after they receive their letter of acceptance.

Make The Journey! Overnight Program
Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, 2008
Newly admitted students will be invited to the
campus for an overnight program including a welcome dinner, workshops and a
tour designed to introduce students and parents to the African American community
at USF. Students will have an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, alumni, and
current USF students representing the Black Alumni Society (BAS), Sister Connection,
the Black Student Union (BSU), and the African Alliance. In addition to learning
about campus resources, participants will see first hand the growing African
American community on our campus. All newly admitted students will receive an invitation to participate in Make the Journey shortly after they receive their letter of acceptance.
