Center for Global Education

Central to the mission of the University of San Francisco is the preparation of men and women to shape a multicultural world with creativity, generosity, and compassion. The study abroad program at USF is dedicated to the development of high quality academic programs throughout the world and to the creation of an educational environment in which culturally diverse Americans can enhance their social and intellectual awareness by exploring international cultures. Ultimately, the goal of USF's study abroad program is to empower students to develop a critical sensitivity to the difficult issues facing an increasingly interrelated world, and to encourage them to become responsible, committed, and involved participants in their own societies and in the world community. Many students say their study abroad experience was the most memorable, exciting, and life-changing part of their college education.

Applications for all study abroad programs (regardless of host program dates) must be submitted to the Study Abroad office in UC 404, by the following deadlines:

Spring October 1
Fall & Academic Year March 1
Summer March 15

These deadlines will be strictly enforced.
