When it comes to dining and lodging, San Francisco has something for everyone.

Explore More:

From taco trucks to dim sum, Southern-style barbecue to nationally renowned vegetarian fine dining, your favorite restaurant is not far from USF. There are hotels, motels, and bed-and-breakfast options (and even some campgrounds) to suit every style and budget.

For lodging, check out Yelp, one of San Francisco's most popular destinations for recommendations, or Hotels.com. Although most of San Francisco's hotels are located downtown, interesting options  the Metro and Chateau Tivoli, as well as several bed and breakfasts — are within walking distance of USF.

Popular dining destinations near USF include Papalote (Mexican), Abacus (Chinese), Twilight Cafe, and Jannah (Middle Eastern). Plenty of nearby coffee shops and delis fill the bill for casual meals.

Looking for options farther afield?  We recommend local blogs like Mission Mission and SF Eater for inspiration and SFGate.com/food, Yelp, and OpenTable for updated restaurant listings.
