The Interfaith Meditation Room next to University Ministry in Lower Phelan Hall has provided a quiet place for students campus-wide to engage in a conversation with silence amidst the business of their daily lives.

The space is currently undergoing an artistic renovation by Father Arturo Araujo, SJ and USF art students. The renovation will facilitate greater connection among religious traditions world-wide by integrating three symbols found in all world religions: a tree of life, a collection of diverse traditional lamps (light), and bells (the call to prayer).
