Jack Casey is a San Francisco native and a
first time Resident Minister this semester. He graduated from St. Ignatius
College Prep in the Sunset and went to Boston College to study History and
Spanish. After college he returned to the City by the Bay for a year of service
in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Jack continues to work as a full-time staff
member at his JVC placement, the Eviction Defense Collaborative.
Ashley Artmann is a first year Resident Minister. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and graduated from Stanford University with a major in English, Creative Writing emphasis, and a minor in Communication. Before becoming a Resident Minister Emily worked a year with Jesuit Volunteer Corps as a Legal Advocate in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to that Ashley was a JusticeCorps (AmeriCorps) Service Member in the Bay Area.
Pierre Kolowé, is a First year Resident Minister who is originally from originally from Cameroon, Central Africa, and a small town called Ngaoundere in Northern Cameroon. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in French Letters and Literature and taught French for two years in a local High School. In the United States, he earned a Bachelor in Business degree with minor in Economics at Eastern University in Philadelphia, He worked for Nationality Service Center in Philadelphia and had a leadership role in Organizing for America in Durham, North Carolina. Currently, he is a graduate student in the Department of Economics at USF majoring in International and Development Economics.
