Jack O'Shaughnessy is originally from San Mateo, CA. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco in Theology and Religious studies. He also minored in chemistry. After graduating from USF, he volunteered through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and was placed in Syracuse, NY. There he worked with adults with developmental disabilities at an agency called L’Arche. Jack is a practicing Buddhist & has lived in Zen Centers in both San Francisco and Rochester NY.
Peggy Tio is a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at USF. She received her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University where she majored in psychology. She is originally from Brentwood, which is a small town east of San Francisco. Last year she worked with University Ministry creating a module relating to the “Think About It” course at USF, focusing on healthy relationships. Aside from working with University Ministry, she coaches at Pacific Rowing Club in the afternoons and weekends.
