Student Conduct Code - Section 7.2.6 Deliberation

The conduct officer or board will determine whether a violation of the Student Conduct Code occurred. A simple majority vote by the Board will make the determination in the UCB process. Deliberations are made in closed sessions and all aspects of the deliberation are confidential. If a student is found responsible, the conduct officer or board will determine the appropriate sanction(s). In determining the sanction(s), the conduct officer or board may consider (a) the nature of the violation, (b) the student’s conduct history, and (c) sanctions assessed in similar cases, if applicable.
