The Jesuit Foundation GrantThe Jesuit Foundation, established by a gift from the USF Jesuit Community, has as its purpose helping USF become more a university by engaging and fostering its Catholic identity. Because that identity depends considerably upon the depth and presence of Ignatian spirituality within the institution, the Foundation encourages the integration of Ignatian spirituality with the programs and structures that sustain the character and life of the University.
Eligibility is limited to current full-time faculty and full-time staff of the University of San Francisco.
Fall 2013 applications are due November 1.
The Advisory Board is calling for
proposals focusing on the Sciences:
· Jesuit legacy in the Sciences
· Faith and Science
· Biotechnology and the Jesuit mission
· Environmental Sustainability and the Jesuit mission
· Digital Technology and the Jesuit mission
An information session will he held mid-September.
