Guiding Tenets for
Visiting Professorship:
- A living legend or elder of our community
who has exemplified social justice and the Jesuit values through their life’s
work
- Situated in the SF/Bay Area
- May be a scholar, or not an academically
trained scholar, but has culturally based knowledge and life experience to
share with the USF community
- Someone who symbolically represents a part of our multicultural American history and can share that experience first-hand
through a teaching engagement with USF students
