LGBTQ Allies I Workshop Fall 2012

The Gender and Sexuality Center offers LGBTQ Allies workshops to the USF community every semester. These workshops are 3 hour programs that educate students, staff, and faculty about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and ally issues and help to create a more inclusive and safe USF community. Whether you feel passionate about fighting homophobia, providing support for a friend or relative who identifies as LGBTQ, or if you just want to learn more for your own knowledge, we encourage you to register for a workshop. All are welcome!

Allies 1:
This workshop provides a safe and supportive space for anyone who is interested in basic knowledge and awareness of
-the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities
-how homophobia and heterosexism affects us all
-the language to talk about these issues
