USF’s new science center is winning high praise from John King, the San Francisco Chronicle’s urban design critic:
“In and of itself, Lo Schiavo Science Center is a refined work of architecture. It’s even better as part of something larger, and that’s the standard by which all urban buildings should be judged.”
Noting its “creative outdoor spaces” and “sleek façade,” King wrote that “the inter- locked landscapes with their bridges and nooks enrich the USF campus.”
Also, the San Francisco Business Times gave the John Lo Schiavo, S.J. Center for Science and Innovation its 2013 Best Community Impact award.
