  • Ethnic News Watch  Full-text articles from newspapers, magazines, and journals of the ethnic, minority, and native press.
  • LexisNexis Academic Full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications. To search for news relating to a specific country, try the following strategy:
    • Choose “Sources” link on side of page. Then choose "Browse Sources".
    • Step 1: select "By Publication Type"
    • Step 2: For “Filter by Country” select your country or region.
    • Step 3: For “Publication Type” select “News" or "General News Sources"
    • Open file folders and check the boxes of the publications you want to search.
    • When you’re done selecting sources, hit the red "Ok-Continue" button.
  • HAPI Online Covers Central and South America, the Caribbean basin, the United States-Mexico border region, and Hispanics/Latinos in the United States. Contains citations to articles, book reviews (through 2001), documents, original literary works, and other materials appearing in more than 500 key social science and humanities journals published throughout the world.
  • HLAS Online  Bibliography on Latin America, contains citations to journal and magazine articles, book reviews, documents and original literary works. Most references are either in Spanish or English.
