The Library Liaison program pairs librarians with specific academic programs to better support faculty teaching and research, and to enhance the library’s instruction and collection development programs.
Collection Development
Collection Development PoliciesFaculty wishing the library to order materials for their programs should send the order information to their library liaison. Requests to order (RTOs) may be sent in any form (email, publisher’s catalogs, 3X5 RTO cards, etc.) as long as sufficient information is included to enable ordering. For books, this information may include the title, author(s) or editor(s), publisher and date of publication, edition, price, and ISBN if known. If you have particular areas of interest in your field, please let your library liaison know so that they can attempt to anticipate your needs as well as keep an eye out for materials of which you may not yet be aware.
