Welcome to the USF Intramural Sports Program! Intramural sports are a fun and competitive way to get involved on campus. Our programs offer an exciting opportunity for students and faculty/staff to participate together in a recreational and competitive environment. The Recreational Sports Department encourages fair play, participation, lifelong learning and opportunity for all. We promote an inclusive environment as evidenced by our gender specific and CoRec leagues, as well as encouraging participants of all skill levels.
We offer variety of sports each semester. Many of our sports are offered as co-recreational, however, we do have some designed for just men or women. USF students, faculty and staff are all invited to participate in our intramural sports. Participants are encouraged to contact the Recreational Sports Department if they would like to see a program or a sport added to the schedule. Employment opportunities are available to students with an interest in score keeping and officiating.
League formats are round robin, each team will have
the opportunity to play all of the other teams at least once per semester. The
top four teams will advance to the playoffs. Playoff scheduling will be #1 v.
#4 and #2 v. #3 with the winners playing each other for the championship. All
three playoff matches will be played on the same day with the championship
match being scheduled 30 minutes after the end of the semi-finals.
Each semester we will hold a mandatory captains
meeting. Team and player expectations along with league/sport rules will be
discussed for all sports offered. The sport rules
are also available online. All registered teams must
have a representative attend the meeting to avoid their team being dropped from
