The USF Boxing Club was formed in 1997 and
dedicates itself to the development of boxing skills and physical conditioning.
Since its inception, the Boxing Club has produced many outstanding boxers,
including male and female national champions and contenders. Club membership is
open not only to competing boxers, but to anyone interested in the challenge of
a rigorous boxing workout.
The boxing team is solid. Considered to be a powerhouse amongst
schools within the nation and USA Boxing, Northern California, LBC. Members of
the club have reached the pennants of both Regional and National Championship.
We have 36 diverse members of which 24 are registered by the USA Amateurs
Boxing Association and other boxing governing bodies.
Our boxing team members have a 96% if not better graduation rate (4 year
enrollment). Their grades are of flying colors and most are complemented by
honorable mentions and affiliation with the dean's list.
