What is the Buddy Program?
The Buddy Program is designed to create a mutual learning opportunity for new international students and returning USF students. It consists of a team of returning USF students who volunteer their time as mentors. Mentors help new international students (mentees) adjust to school and the city environment. The Buddy Program is a great opportunity for educational and cultural exchanges to take place throughout the semester.
Are you interested in helping a fellow international student on campus? If so, apply to be a mentor! As a mentor, your roles will include being a resource and culture guide, and a friend by way of personal interactions and planning social events. Maybe you've had experiences where you could have used help, or maybe you just want to help others have as great of a time at college as you've had. You could make a major impact on someone else's experience here at USF. Whatever your reason, please consider becoming a USF Buddy.
