USF Provost Jennifer Turpin
“This is not just a building, it’s an incubator of knowledge. Lo Schiavo Science shouts: science is critical, science is important, and science is exciting!”
— Jennifer Turpin
USF Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Built with the support of more than 3,400 donors, the John Lo Schiavo, S.J., Center for Science and Innovation has ushered in a bold new era of exploration and discovery at USF.

Uniting sophisticated laboratories with the social ore of a Jesuit education, Lo Schiavo Science nurtures and cultivates scientists, technologists and health care practitioners who have the skills to excel and the passion to improve the Bay Area, the nation and the world.
