Seventy percent of USF’s students depend on financial aid to
achieve their dreams of a college education. The most effective way to ensure
that deserving students—regardless of their ability to pay—are able to enroll
at USF is through increased support of endowed scholarship funds.
Established in a donor’s name or in the names of others a
donor would like to honor, endowed scholarships serve as living memorials,
signifying an ongoing commitment to quality education.
As a donor, endowed scholarships provide a permanent and
personal way for you to make a difference in the life of a USF student. As
Jennifer Fernandez, the 2009 recipient of the Brayton Wilbur scholarship put
it: “I hope that one day I can change the life of another, the way this scholarship
has changed mine.” ( Click here to read Jennifer’s story, along with those of
other scholarship recipients.)
