Gifts to schools, colleges, and centers and institutes allow donors
to support programs for which they have a strong allegiance. USF
students and faculty in these programs receive direct and immediate
benefit from such gifts. Gifts provide funding for important needs
throughout campus, such as:
- Academic advising
- Recruiting and supporting excellent faculty
- Financial support for high-achieving students in need through thesis research stipends and conference travel grants
- Seed funding for innovative interdisciplinary research projects
- Lectures and conferences that bring noted scientists, leaders, writers, artists, and poets to campus
- Technology upgrades in classrooms and laboratories
