For Richard de Rosa, supporting scholarships at USF is nothing new. He has funded three of them for nursing over the years.

“For years I’ve supported scholarships at USF,” said Richard. “I think the need is great especially in this economy — the need has grown so much.”

Richard is also urging other alums and friends of the university to support scholarships at USF. “If people knew how hard these kids work — some of them have student jobs and off-campus jobs just to go to school, and many people don’t see that.

“We all know that the need will be growing more than ever.”

salquist“As a parent of two USF recent graduates, I know the importance of enabling students to pursue their education without having to stop out and then re-enter at a later date. We are happy to fund the scholarship support essential to so many USF students.”

gallo“Today, more than ever, we need to support our students to ensure that they are able to stay in school and receive their Jesuit education. Their education ensures hope for the future and informs who they are, who they will become, and how they will lead.

“By giving to this scholarship fund, you will meet an immediate dire need the students have to continue their education during these difficult times. This will make the critical difference between surviving and thriving in the years to come.”
