Dr. Richard Greggory Johnson III, Phi Beta Kappa, is an Associate Professor of Public Administration, Department of Public & NonProfit Administration. Dr. Johnson is widely published with five books, including:The Black professorate:Negotiating a habitable space inthe academy, with Dr. Sandra Jackson (Peter Lang Publishing, 2011). He has also published many peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Johnson's research centers on social equity/human rights within public policy and administration, targeting issues of race, gender, sexual orientation and social class. Dr. Johnson is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, a Unitarian Universalist & Fulbright Scholar. He is also the Executive Editor (with Dr. Rochelle Brock) of the Black Studies & Critical Studies Series of Peter Lang Publishing, focusing in the areas of policy, education, management, gender studies etc.
