Sheldon Engler

Dr. Sheldon Engler is an economic consultant, specializing in global economic and financial market research for businesses and institutional investors. Sheldon has 35 years of experience in financial services, academics and consulting. Before starting his consulting practice in 2007, Sheldon was head of fixed income research at Charles Schwab Investment Management. Earlier he worked at Bank of America, where he was a global currency strategist and director of Europe, Middle East and Africa research. Dr. Engler teaches economics, finance and statistics at the University of San Francisco’s School of Management. Currently, he is a member of the California Chamber of Commerce Economic Advisory Council and a member of the National Association for Business Economics. Dr. Engler earned his doctorate in economics at the University of Florida.
