Ron Babin brings over 20 years of experience as a senior management consultant and educator specializing in outsourcing and IT management (ITM) issues. Babin served as a senior management consultant and partner at two global consulting firms, Accenture and KMPG, where he was responsible for helping client executives across the globe improve the business value delivered by IT within their organizations.
A lifelong commitment to education, Babin is an associate professor of IT management and Director of Corporate and Executive Education at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University in Toronto. His research interests include outsourcing, with particular attention to the vendor/client relationship and social responsibility, and he has written several papers and a book on these topics.
Babin holds a BA in Computer Science from York University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and a DBA from the University of Manchester.
