DEPARTMENT CHAIR / PROFESSOR

Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Inglin, Department Chair and Professor in the Military Science Program, brings more than two decades of honorable service and experience as a Public Affairs Officer and Army Aviator to the School of Management. As a chief administrator and teacher in the department, Lt. Col. Inglin is responsible for the development and continual improvement of the USF's Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program and curriculum, providing students with the unique opportunity to earn their college degree and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army at the same time.

After earning his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace) from the United States Military Academy (USMA) in 1993, Lt. Col. Inglin served for eight years as an Army Aviation Officer with assignments in Kentucky and Hawaii. He later received his Masters in Communication from the University of Maryland through the Army’s Advanced Civil Schooling program before serving as a Public Affairs Officer in Virginia, Texas, and Germany, as well as deployment tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. Through these experiences, Lt. Col. Inglin has gained an appreciation for global issues and a firsthand perspective of what it means to care for and work towards the welfare of those less fortunate, in communities worldwide. His goal is to ensure Army ROTC Cadets are taught to be leaders of character with hands on experience managing physical, financial, and human resources.

A native of Tacoma, Washington, Kevin is married to Shae Inglin. They reside in San Francisco with their two sons.
